Trying to effect the election results, David is arrested in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.
   
 

I have tried everything. Thousands of phone calls to "the whole world." Politicians, media, activists, etc. English and hebrew. Some stuff has worked. There has been progress as you can see in my diary. But elections are a day away and the media is at Yitzhak Rabin Square. End result: I get arrested.

8:30 A.M. by office Shmuel Keva arrested me. Case Number 81490/2006. The whole purpose of the arrest is to steal the sign and I was released 2 hours later. Since, I did not have the sign I simply went home.

Sadly, a few days later when the election results came in "the Pensionaires Party" won 7 seats out of nowhere. The Pensionaires simply sent out emails asking people to vote for them instead of voting a "blank ballot." I had a feeling this would happen. On March 3rd, I asked my email guy to start emailing and the guy goes on vacation for a few weeks and comes back to do 50,000 a day. Too little, too late and Shimon Peres's party gets 29 seats. Less than 45 but still too much.

 
This is a picture of a previous incident, but same concept. Officer sees me wearing the sign that says that "Shimon Peres ordered the murder of Yitzhak Rabin" and this time I get taken down town and my signs confiscated.
